Once a year, Tate Modern (the Blavatnik Building) shuts its doors to the public and opens them exclusively to schools students and their teachers to explore the collection through a set of resources and gallery activations. The Schools and Teachers team invites, welcomes and joins them in declaring that every child has the right to a critically engaged art education.
We want to protest, declare, resist and build new strategies through the day and our new resources!
I was invited to contribute to this mission by producing a resource for Tate's A is for... series, responding to a display in the Tanks of sound works. The resource was launched at ASSEMBLY 2019 on13th June, and now lives on the Tate website as downloadable resource.
