Once a year, Tate Modern shuts its doors to the public and opens them exclusively to schools students and their teachers to explore the collection through a set of resources and gallery activations. The Schools and Teachers team invites, welcomes and joins them in declaring that every child has the right to a critically engaged art education.

 

We want to protest, declare, resist and build new strategies through the day and our new resources!

I was invited to contribute to this mission by producing a resource for Tate's A is for... series, responding to a display in the Tanks of sound works. The resource was launched at ASSEMBLY 2019 on13th June, and now lives on the shelves of the Schools Room at Tate Modern and on the Tate website as a downloadable resource.
