Bridges is an artist-led programme for young people at Kettle’s Yard. Across two projects and groups, participants explored issues of belonging in their city, at a time when the Centre for Cities listed Cambridge as the most unequal city in the UK. 

During a celebration event at Kettle’s Yard, conversations between participants were recorded, and I was invited to edit these into a sound piece. The work illustrates their statements with field recordings from local sites, and shares their reflections about how they relate to the city.
