Working across sound and moving image, I develop works for performance, installation and broadcast. Listening is at the core of my practice. I work with field recording, oral histories, expanded radio and electronics, and also produce analogue films using 1960s Bolex cameras and hand-processing cine film.
 

A longstanding area of my research explores electromagnetism. Using DIY antennas, I tune into very low frequency radio waves emitted by the Earth and stars, as documented in the BBC Radio 4 feature All Under One Magnetosphere. I am an active member of the feminist radio art group Shortwave Collective, with whom I develop research projects and facilitate workshops.
 

Alongside my artistic practice, I have produced radio programmes and audio documentaries for a range of arts, community and activist organisations.
