Kettle's Yard recruited three ‘families-in-residence’ in October 2023, inviting them to collaborate with an artist to produce an activity pack for other families visiting the Making New Worlds: Li Yuan-chia & Friends show. Together with the Emokpaires (two adults, two under-12s), we tested a variety of activities - from designing outlandish glasses through which to view the exhibition, to transmitting micro-FM broadcasts from room to room - and created a risograph-printed activity pack for visitors to the gallery.
